Libraries across the state may place these SmartSearch widgets on their webpages to enhance access for their patrons. Widgets provide the following advantages:
- The searches present a Google-like experience for end users. Patrons can search across multiple resources with a single search!
- Most users are automatically authenticated when they conduct the search, thereby eliminating the need to enter the Discus username and password.
Important note: Widgets have been found to be incompatible with sites using Drupal and Google Sites.
