The South Carolina State Library is pleased to welcome Mrs. Linda Heimburger and Ms. Jessica Ogburn to the Electronic Resources department.
Mrs. Heimburger is the Electronic Resources Training and Outreach Coordinator whose primary role will be working with our electronic resource partners and participating institutions to provide online and in-person training sessions throughout SC. Linda graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Master’s in Library Science and most recently worked at the South Carolina Technical College System. Prior to that time, she worked at Central Carolina Technical College, Harvin Clarendon County Library, and McLennan Community College. Linda has over 17 years of experience in library science, education, training, research, and outreach. Our second new staff member to the Electronic Resources department is Ms. Jessica Ogburn. Jessica is serving as our new Electronic Resources Customer Support Specialist, providing support to all of our Discus participating institutions. Jessica graduated from the College of Charleston where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies. She comes to the State Library from the public library community having worked for both Richland Library as well as the Kershaw County Library.
