Access to DISCUS resources is available on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs. The database providers currently offering access to their products via free apps or mobile Web sites are listed below. Britannica Digital LearningBritannica has created Britannica MOBILE, a site specifically optimized for mobile phones. It currently has only the Encyclopaedia Britannica level targeted to high school and college users, but lower levels will be added soon. Britannica MOBILE can be accessed at http://m.eb.com/. Gale Cengage LearningThe AccessMyLibrary (AML) family of free mobile apps is now available for public, school and academic libraries. Visit Gale Apps for additional information about AML Public Edition, AML School Edition and AML College Edition. For the AML School Edition, the statewide DISCUS password will work as the initial student log-in. |
