August 8, 2008 - Literature Resources from Gale is a new interface that is now available to DISCUS users who conduct literary research in the databases provided by Gale. With the content of several familiar stand-alone databases, Literature Resources from Gale provides a single search environment for conducting literature research that is easy to use and a real timesaver. Users were previously required to search the content of Literature Resource Center, LitFinder and the Scribner Writers Series individually. With the cross-search functionality of Literature Resources from Gale, researchers can now enter one query and retrieve results from all three stand-alone databases at once. Results are organized into tabs that display literature criticism; biographies; topic and work overviews; reviews and news; primary sources and literary works; and multimedia. Take a spin today with Literature Resources from Gale to simplify and streamline effective literary research at your institution! |
